How to Apply

Submit application and fee
Use the online UO application, download the PDF, or complete the Common Application (freshmen only) and pay the nonrefundable $75 (USD) application fee.
Alternatively, if you are an undergraduate international student who would like the support of an education agent in your country, apply to UO through the Kaplan International application form.

Show English proficiency
Provide official exam results from the TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, SAT, or ACT to prove your English proficiency. Applicants from China and other nearby countries are encouraged to interview with InitialView.

Send official documents
Send official transcripts from all high schools and universities attended, as well as a bank statement, certificate of deposit, or scholarship letter equal to the cost of one academic year.
Cost and Scholarships
At the University of Oregon you’ll find several sources of financial aid for international students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Each year the UO awards more than $1.7 million (USD) in financial aid and scholarships to international students.
